The Ram Ready Social Work program is a partnership with San Antonio College (SAC) designed to help you achieve your educational goals. We are committed to maximizing your transfer credits, while at the same time minimizing the cost and time required to earn both your associate and bachelor’s degrees.
Our Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) degree prepares you for licensure as a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW).
Program Requirements
Once you have applied for admission to ASU and been admitted, you will need to meet with the Ram Ready Social Work advisor to ensure you have completed the appropriate steps to apply for admission into the ASU B.S.W. Program.

Follow these steps to become Ram Ready:
- Be currently enrolled at SAC as a degree-seeking student.
- Submit official transcripts to ASU from SAC to show good academic standing.
- Apply to Angelo State as a transfer student through ApplyTexas.
- Meet the ASU Pre-Social Work requirements.
