Types of Aid
Nine out of 10 Angelo State students receive some form of financial aid. We offer a variety of financial aid options, including several based exclusively on financial need. For 2021-22, we awarded over $52 million through scholarships, grants and other aid programs.
ASU administers more than 600 different scholarship programs, and you could earn up to $56,000 over four years.
ASU offers several grant programs that are based on financial need as determined by your FAFSA. The best part is, grants don’t have to be repaid.
If you have significant financial need, you may qualify for FREE TUITION to attend Angelo State!
Loans are a common form of financial aid and are available through federal, state and private programs.
Get a part-time job either on or off campus to help pay for college.
Whether you are active duty or a veteran, our VETS Center staff will help you access and make the most of your military and VA education benefits.
Financial Aid and the FAFSA
To be eligible for most types of financial aid, you must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
