There is no application for the Blue and Gold Guarantee. All you need to do is be admitted to ASU as an entering freshman and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the May 1 priority review date. Then, you will be automatically reviewed for the Blue and Gold Guarantee Program.
Students that meet the eligibility requirements will be notified by email that they qualify for the Blue and Gold Guarantee program.
Dual credit hours will not impact your eligibility for the Blue and Gold Guarantee program.
No. The Blue and Gold Guarantee program is designed to assist students with mandatory tuition and fees only.
Gift aid is any type of funding that you will receive to help pay your bill that is not a loan. Gift aid includes, but is not limited to: grants, scholarships, or other types of free money that do not require repayment.
Renewal Requirements
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will review your progress at the end of each spring semester to determine if you qualify for continued eligibility of the Blue and Gold Guarantee.
