Renewal Requirements

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will review your progress at the end of each spring semester to determine if you qualify for continued eligibility of the Blue and Gold Guarantee. You must meet all of the following standards and must remain in good standing (academic and disciplinary) with the university.

1. Institutional Grade Point Average (GPA)
   • Minimum 2.5 institutional GPA 
2. Successful Completion of Semester Credit Hours (SCH)
   • Complete 24 SCH each academic year (fall/spring)
   • The following are considered hours attempted, but not successfully completed and/or earned:
     • Grades of F or NC for undergraduates
     • Course withdrawals
     • Course incompletes
     • Developmental coursework
     • Repeated coursework
     • Dual credit
     • Transfer coursework
3. Meet the Program Requirements
   • FAFSA submitted by the priority review date - May 1
   • Family AGI of $70,000 or lower as reported on the FAFSA
   • Must be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant program as determined by the information on the FAFSA according to federal guidelines
4. Maximum Time Frame
   • Not to exceed eight (8) consecutive semesters (four years) or a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first
