This usually occurs when the student selects the “submit” or “decline to answer” buttons. Please email financial.aid@angelo.edu with your name, your ASU Campus ID number, and the name of the application you need to have reset.
As long as you complete the General Scholarship Application on RamPort, your information will be provided to your academic department for their review of your eligibility.
The priority review date is the date that applications will be presented to the various scholarship committees on campus to be reviewed.
In order to award scholarships as early as possible, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships has aligned the priority review date to coincide with the State of Texas’ priority review deadline. Read more about the scholarship timeline.
If you do not complete the application at all, there is a 100% chance you will not qualify. Completing the application before the priority review date increases your chances of being selected. All scholarships are awarded to the extent that funds are available, so you may still qualify if you submit your application after the priority deadline.
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will send emails to students notifying them of their awards.
All recipients of ASU scholarships are required to complete the Thank You Letter form for the donor of each scholarship that the students receive. Some scholarships will not apply toward the student’s bill until they have provided the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships with their Thank You Letter. The Thank You Letter form is included in the award notice email to the student.
