Scholarship Application Timeline

October - Applications Open

Helpful Hints

• ASU’s scholarship applications are located in RamPort.
• Some departments do not have an application on RamPort. Instead, the department uses the ASU General Scholarship Application to select recipients
• Angelo State has scholarships to reward your active participation in our campus life. Look in RamPort.

January - Priority Deadline

• January 15 is the priority deadline.
• The priority review group includes applications submitted between October and January 15.

April - Round 1 Awarding Cycle

• By mid-April, the first round of awarding is complete.
• Students selected to receive a scholarship will receive an award notice via email.
• If fund remain after the first awarding cycle, we will begin the second awarding cycle in May.

September - Applications Closed

• ASU scholarship applications close in September.
• This is a great time to prepare for the next application cycle!

Outside Scholarships

Outside scholarship applications usually open in October. When Halloween candy goes on sale, make sure you start searching for outside scholarships!
