Special University Scholarships are available to student leaders and those active with campus organizations.
Each scholarship has its own specific criteria and contact information for applications.

Scholarships based primarily on ability and performance are available for outstanding members of the Angelettes, our precision drill team. Inquiries may be addressed to the ASU Angelettes sponsor.
A number of scholarships are available for members of the ASU Ram Band. Interested students should contact the ASU band director.
Scholarships based primarily on performance are available for outstanding members of the cheerleading squad. Inquiries may be addressed to the ASU cheerleading sponsor.
Students who represent ASU in the choir program are eligible for available scholarships. Interested students should contact the ASU choir director.
The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) scholarship is for junior college transfer students who are members in good standing with the PTK organization. Qualified candidates may be eligible to receive a $1,000 award each academic year through the completion of a first bachelor’s degree at ASU. Applicants must obtain a PTK Scholarship Reference Form from their junior college PTK advisor and return it to the ASU Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The PTK Reference Form must be received by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships prior to the first class day for the semester you will be attending.
The PTK Scholarship is renewable for two years as long as you are meeting the PTK satisfactory academic progress requirements. You must complete 30 credit hours each year and maintain a 3.0 or higher institutional GPA.
Students demonstrating special skill on the Speech and Debate Team may be eligible for varying scholarships. Inquiries should be directed to the Speech and Debate Team sponsor.
This scholarship is available for students demonstrating leadership/campus involvement, financial need and scholastic achievement. All three areas will be evaluated by an advisory committee. The requirements for each area include:

Obtain a letter of recommendation from an on-campus organization or activity advisor.
