Summer Financial Aid
If you have completed completed a 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet all requirements for the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), you may be eligible for financial aid for your summer courses.
You will automatically be evaluated for summer financial aid based on your summer enrollment. Awarding of summer aid will begin the fourth week of April.
Grant eligible students will receive at least $500 for half-time (6 hours) enrollment or $1,000 for full-time (12+ hours) enrollment in the summer based on need eligibility.
Undergraduate students taking at least 6 hours in the summer and graduate students taking at least 3 hours in the summer are also eligible for any remaining annual Federal Direct Loan eligibility.
Additional credit-based loan options are available for students that do not have any remaining Federal Direct Stafford Loan eligibility.
CRRSA Act funding for Summer I and Summer II will be available prior to the start of each term. Only students enrolled in summer classes will have the opportunity to apply. Watch your angelo.edu email for details.
Please notify the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships of changes to your summer enrollment after you have been awarded. These changes will require review and may result in changes to your financial aid awards.
