What is the Texas Leadership Scholars program?
The Texas Leadership Scholars (TLS) program is a state-wide leadership program designed for Texas high school graduates like you. It focuses on developing your leadership skills while paving the way for a free college education at a public Texas university.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Peer and Professional Networks: Connect with like-minded peers and experienced mentors.
- Leadership Development Programs: Engage in unique programs to enhance your leadership skills.
- Undergraduate Research and Study Abroad: Explore opportunities for research and study abroad experiences.
If you’re a top-performing student with financial need, leadership experience in high school and academic success, you could be one of the 250 students selected annually from across Texas. The program aims to prepare you for life after graduation, whether it’s a professional career or graduate school.
