The Management, Instruction and Research Center is home to our largest lab. The MIR sits on 6,000 acres just north of San Angelo. On this working ranch you can take care of livestock, manage wildlife or process meat -- all hands-on experience you can take directly into your career. You can also conduct your research here in conjunction with faculty who have decades of experience.

Visit our meat martket to choose from a variety of beef, pork, lamb and goat products as well as a growing number of smoked and fully cooked items. The main Meat Market location is open during the regular semesters and summer terms. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, unless otherwise noted. The Meat Market is located at 7945 Grape Creek Road at the ASU Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Product Development Laboratory. Use these directions to find us.
