Named for retired U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, the center’s key objective is to develop a community-focused Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence that is a regional hub serving all of Texas.
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Cyber Intelligence, Innovation, and Security Studies equips students with the knowledge, skills and practical experience to be the best cybersecurity or culture- and national-security-focused graduates.
- The Cyber Intelligence program focuses on the latest developments in cyber defense, information operations, and information security to produce graduates that make significant contributions to the advancement of cybersecurity technology, policy, and the protection of critical digital assets and networks.
- The Security Studies Program focuses foremost on military personnel and federal civilian employees who will compete exceptionally well in the global arena, make lasting contributions to United States national security and economic prowess, and successfully engage in culturally informed interactions with other countries to increase international stability, cooperation and prosperity.
