Since its beginning, the ASU-SBDC has assisted thousands of area small businesses with free and confidential business advising and business training to better manage their businesses and to help entrepreneurs create new businesses.

SBDC Staff
Our certified business advisors provide advising and training services with a wealth of expertise, including business start-up, planning, and financing, human resources, marketing, government procurement, and more. Their expertise has been gained through business ownership, business management, and education. Our staff also goes through a series of business certifications to enhance their advising skills. We also have a training coordinator who creates events every year and a full-time administrative assistant who provides excellent customer service.
Valuable Partners
The ASU-SBDC works hand in hand with lenders, government entities, and other area economic development organizations to promote economic well-being for its service area. Some of those partners include: San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, City of San Angelo Development Corporation (COSADC), Concho Valley Workforce Development Board/Texas Workforce Solutions, West Texas Training Center, Downtown San Angelo, Inc., and other area chambers and economic development organizations.
