The Internal Revenue Service encourages those who are self-employed or own a small business to take advantage of certain tax benefits and learn about IRS resources that can help them meet their federal tax obligations. Let’s explore business expenses and deductions, business depreciation deductions, business tax credits, the American Taxpayer Relief Act and qualifications for the Earned Income Tax Credit. Presentation includes currently available small business tax credits available for employers, including Employee Retention Credits and Credit for Paid Sick and Family Leave. This webinar also will include a live question-and-answer session.

Virtual: TxHUB Program with Application Preparation
Join the Del Mar PTAC online or in-person in Victoria, TX for an in-depth discussion on the documentation required for submission of the Texas Historically Underutilized Business (TxHUB) application packet.
The statewide TxHUB Program facilitates the use of HUB’s in state procurement. All state agencies are required to make a good faith effort to utilize HUB certified firms in contracts of all kinds. HUB certification is free of charge. This seminar will also detail the Central Master Bidders List (CMBL) program and how to apply. Application ‘best practices’ will be addressed along with mention of the HUB-Subcontracting Plan (HSP). Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with PTAC Procurement Specialists to begin the TxHUB application process. No cost
