National ACT

The ACT is a national college entrance examination. It assesses high school students’ general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice test covers four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading and science. The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skills in planning and writing a short essay.  Angelo State University is a testing center for the National ACT.

Registration for the ACT must be done online at www.actstudent.org.  Information on requesting extended time or other accommodations, or requesting standby testing on test day, are available online, as well.
