Concert: ASU Flute Choir

Eldon Black Recital Hall, Carr Education-Fine Arts Building
ASU’s student Flute Choir will present its fall 2018 concert on Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the EFA Building’s Eldon Black Recital Hall and is open free to the public. Flute Choir members perform on all instruments in the flute family, including flute, piccolo, alto flute and bass flute.

The musical program for the concert will include:

  • “Jour D’été á la Montagne” by Eugène Bozza
  • “Bourrée” by Johann Sebastian Bach
  • “Vocalise” by Sergei Rachmaninoff
  • “Scarborough Fair” by Simon & Garfunkel

Flute Choir performers will include ASU music majors Sarah Bridges of San Angelo, Trystian Galindo of Ozona, Thalia Hernandez of Converse, Whittany Jenkins of Brownwood and Taylor Oglesby of San Angelo. The director is Dr. Constance Kelley, associate professor of music.
