Born and raised in Saratov, Russia, Alexandrova’s current research interests include Russian radical and revolutionary movements, the art and literature of Russian modernism and avant-garde, and the history of Russian food production and consumption. She holds a master’s degree in English from Saratov State University and a Ph.D. in comparative literature from the University of Texas.
