Faculty Professional Development Opportunity: Open Educational Resources Workshop

1:30pm - 3:30pm
Rassman Building, Room 111

Learn the basics about open textbooks, and strategies on how to adopt open textbooks for courses at ASU.

Come learn about open textbooks from our guest speakers, Dr. David Carter, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Angelo State, and Camille Thomas, Scholarly Publishing Librarian at Texas Tech / SPARC Open Education Ambassador.

Attendees will have the opportunity to write a short review of an open textbook picked for them. The Provost is funding five $200-stipends for selected faculty reviews. Your review will benefit other faculty considering open textbooks.

For those who cannot attend this event in person, the workshop will be streamed live and recorded. The recording will be available for access at a later date in the Library’s MediaSpace.
