Administrative Professionals Retreat 2019

The ASU Administrative Professionals Retreat a day-long, annual professional development conference specifically designed for and by Angelo State executive assistants, coordinators and administrative support staff.

Our administrative committee has structured an informal program designed to promote professional growth, team building skills, and heightened awareness in the workplace.

Staff development is essential for success, but it doesn’t have to be boring! Imagine a day full of practical, useful information coupled with hands-on learning to expand your knowledge and experience!

This year’s theme will be, Navigating with a Purpose.

  • Becoming More Assertive; Presented by Guest Speaker Ashley Meyer
  • Health Awareness and Incentive Programs; Presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield
  • Run. Hide. Fight. Surviving an Active Shooter; Presented by ASU Police Chief James E. Adams
  • Disaster Response and AED Education; Presented by ASU Nursing Department
  • Team building Activity: Take a Walk on the Wild Side & Cupcake Creations
  • Prize Giveaways
  • Lunch and Snacks provided

Dress casually and come enjoy a productive, fun-filled day off campus! It is strongly encouraged that you attend the entire day, but feel free to come enjoy a half-day if your schedule does not permit! RSVP will be sent via email. A golf cart will be provided at the lake house for transportation from the parking area, if needed.
