Planetarium: “Stars: Powerhouses of the Universe”

The ASU Planetarium will present the full-dome astronomy show “Stars: Powerhouses of the Universe” at 7 p.m. each Thursday, March 21 - May 9, in the Vincent Building, 2333 Vanderventer St.

All the shows are open to the public with admission prices of $3 for adults and $2 for children, active military and senior citizens. ASU students, faculty and staff are admitted free.

Every star has a story. Some are as old as time, faint and almost forgotten. In “Stars: Powerhouses of the Universe,” audiences will journey to the furthest reaches of our galaxy and experience both the awesome beauty and destructive power of stars. This dramatic program features the voice talent of Mark Hamill and stunning 3-D animation by NSC Creative. Content includes stellar evolution, space exploration, the electromagnetic spectrum and the history of astronomy.
