Planetarium: “Faster Than Light: The Dream of Interstellar Flight”

The ASU Planetarium will present the full-dome astronomy show “Faster Than Light: The Dream of Interstellar Flight” at 8 p.m. each Thursday, March 21 - May 9, in the Vincent Building, 2333 Vanderventer St.

All the shows are open to the public with admission prices of $3 for adults and $2 for children, active military and senior citizens. ASU students, faculty and staff are admitted free.

“Faster Than Light: the Dream of Interstellar Flight” will dazzle audiences with virtual rides aboard spacecraft of the future. The craft are based on new technologies designed to achieve ultra-high speeds, using exotic next-generation rocket fuels and breakthrough concepts in physics. The show is narrated by award-winning actor Sean Bean and won the Director’s Award at the 2017 Fulldome Festival Brno at the Brno Observatory in the Czech Republic.
