ASU will host the sixth biennial Salmon Sculpture Symposium on campus. The Salmon Sculpture Competition opening and awards ceremony will follow at Sunken Garden Park near downtown San Angelo.

Friday, Oct. 18

Sculpture Symposium

1:30 – 4:30 p.m., Carr EFA Building, Room 101

Presentations by:

  • Katie Robinson Edwards, Salmon Sculpture Competition Juror, Curator of the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum
  • Suguru Hiraide, Exhibiting Artist at ASU Gallery 193

The featured speakers will engage in a panel discussion and dialogue with the audience. The symposium moderator is Howard Taylor, Director of the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts
