Planetarium: “Secret Lives of Stars”

Thursday, March 5, 2020 8 p.m.
$3 adults
$2 children, active military & senior citizens
Explore the wide variety of stars present in the universe.

“Secret Lives of Stars” illustrates for audiences how some stars are massive while others are tiny and almost insignificant.

The specific characteristics of a star determine what type of life it will lead and how long it might live.

The program also reveals unsuspected hidden aspects, such as multiple-star systems in gravitational embraces, stars so bloated that they shed layers of gas into the expanse of space, and stellar time bombs just waiting to go off at any time.

Audiences will witness the amazing variety of stars and peer into their secret lives.

The program is narrated by award-winning actor Patrick Stewart.
