10-week lecture series tailored for students applying to graduate schools in the life sciences.
Inviting junior and senior undergraduate students to attend a free virtual workshop, hosted by Texas A&M University Dept of Biochemistry & Biophysics. These weekly lectures will address:
- Common questions, dispel myths, and discuss strategies for submitting a strong graduate school application
- Learn about the application process – from submission to interview – from the Associate Head of Graduate Studies, Prof. Jean-Philippe Pellois
- Chair of Graduate Admissions, Prof. Tatyana Igumenova, will discuss what her committee looks for in a stand-out applicant
- Get tips for applying to prestigious federal fellowships from Prof. Gary Kunkel, a long-time NSF-GRFP reviewer
