Grad School Ranked Top 5 in U.S. for Online Programs

ASU ranked No. 3 on the list behind only the University of Houston and Central Michigan University. According to Master’s Programs Guide, data for the rankings came from the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. News & World Report and school websites. Criteria for the rankings included:
- Regional accreditation in the U.S.
- Offer more than 10 online graduate degrees
- Offer programs 100 percent online
- Average level of student debt at graduation
- Student support services available remotely
- Student access to technology
The ASU College of Graduate Studies currently offers 13 master’s degrees available totally online in applied psychology, business administration, criminal justice, curriculum and instruction, education programs, nursing programs and security studies programs.
ASU and Houston are among six Texas schools with online graduate programs on the Master’s Programs Guide rankings list. The others are Lamar University, Sam Houston State University, Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Brownsville.
