Dilts on Council for Children and Families

Dilts selected to serve on Texas Health and Human Services Commission Council

 

Dr. Nicole Dilts, Associate Professor of English, has been selected to serve a four year term as a member of the Policy Council for Children and Families, a division of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

As part of the committee, she will help in the council’s mission “to improve and to make recommendations for the coordination, quality, efficiency, and outcomes of services provided to children and families through the state’s health, education, and human service systems.”

Dr. Dilts was chosen on the basis of her research specialization in medical communication, as well as her involvement with the autism community in San Angelo and at Angelo State University.
