ASU Earns National Fundraising Award

August 15, 2016

For the second consecutive year, Angelo State University has been recognized with a Sustained Excellence Award in Fundraising by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

The Sustained Excellence Award recognizes exemplary fundraising programs that have garnered a CASE Award for Educational Fundraising in either Overall Performance or Overall Improvement in three of the last five years. ASU was selected to receive 2016 Overall Performance, Overall Improvement and Sustained Excellence awards based on the judges’ analysis of three years of fundraising data submitted by ASU to the Council for Aid to Education on its annual Voluntary Support of Education Survey. ASU also received those three awards from CASE in 2015.

Brian Flahaven, CASE director of legislative, foundation and recognition programs, said, “Fundraising at educational institutions continues to grow on campuses across the country as more institutions realize the high value and impact of well-maintained fundraising programs. These awards acknowledge the exceptional work of those institutions.”
