Qualifications/Duties

Requires the ability to perform procedures of moderate difficulty, and learn Library policies and procedures.  Tasks range from shelving, shifting and maintaining order of books, working at the Circulation answering phones, working on special projects, and other tasks as assigned.

Dependable and dedicated student who can work up to 20 hours per week, including evenings, late nights, and some weekend hours.  This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, people skills, public service commitment, and personal reliability.  The nature of the work requires visual acuity, full range of motion including but not limited to standing, sitting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling book carts up to 300 pounds, and lifting up to 30 pounds. 

Days/Times

Approximately 15-20 hours per week.  The fall and spring requires working at least one night per week until midnight or 2:00 am.  Summer evening hours are no later than 11:00 pm.  Must be available to start work no later than January 8th.

Salary

Undergraduate $8.25/hr.  

Graduate $8.95/hr.
