Club Sports Field Day is an annual event that occurs every spring. It is coordinated in collaboration with the Student Organization/Club Sports Coordinator and the club sports that exist on campus. During Club Sports Field Day, club sports showcase to the campus their sport by incorporating their skills into fun, competitive activities. The day is filled with physical activities that require strength, agility, and team work.

It is open to the entire campus and is broken down into the following:

  • 32 teams are allowed to compete
  • Each team may have an unlimited amount of teammates
  • Only ten teammates will be able to compete in one event at a time
  • Participants must be ASU students
  • Participants must sign all release waivers
  • There will be three categories of winners
    • Top Club Sport Team
    • Top Greek Life Team
    • Top ASU Team

Relay Races

  1. Flashback (all actions to be performed from starting point to end point)
    1. Leap Frog
    2. Bear crawl
    3. piggy back
    4. Backward Crabwalk
  2. Team Work
    1. 3 legged race
    2. Double Burlap Sack race
    3. Human Wheel Barrow
    4. Army Crawl
  3. Wet Sponge Relay
    1. Transferring water from one bucket to another with a wet sponge

Games

  1. Dodgeball (Teams of 10)
    1. Each Team will be paired against opposing teams in different brackets until only two teams remain for competition
  2. Tug of War (Teams of 10)
    1. Each Team will be paired against opposing teams in different brackets until only two teams remain for competition
  3. Bubble Soccer/Knocker ball (Teams of 5)
    1. Each Team will be paired against opposing teams in different brackets until only two teams remain for competition
  4. Water Balloon Toss (Teams of 10)
    1. Each team will have 10 members separated into 5 couples competing simultaneously. The team with the final competitors will win the points
  5. Rugby/Frisbee Target game (Teams of 10 cumulative points)
    1. Each team will have 10 members throwing at targets worth different points. Each person will receive 3 throws and the points of each teammate will be combined for a total point count.
  6. Basketball (Speed) (Teams of 10)
    1. Each team will have 10 members competing simultaneously as individuals, but will be kept in the same heat. The individual who wins will gain points for their team.
  7. Water balloon Volleyball (Teams of 10)
    1. Each Team will be paired against opposing teams in different brackets until only two teams remain for competition
  8. Adult Tic Tac Toe

Side (non-competitive)

  1. Life Size Jenga
  2. Life Size Connect Four
  3. Life Size Solo Cup Pong w/ volley ball (24 for two sets)
