Student Asst., Library Remnant Trust Exhibit
This position is in support of an exhibit of very rare books and documents being hosted by Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection as part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Library.
Requirements for this position include strong people skills, a public service commitment, personal reliability, and excellent verbal communication skills.
Duties include welcoming visitors, answering questions and explaining the collection, while also insuring the safety of the displayed items.
Chosen candidates will be representing the University as well as the Library, and must abide by the departmental dress code.
Sufficient stamina to graciously host visitors is a must.
Regular Exhibit hours will be Mon-Th 10am-7pm, and Fri 10am-5pm. Special events may occasionally be scheduled for evening or weekend hours. Employment will be Aug. 21-Nov. 17 2017. Approximately 10 -15 hrs/wk
