Online Education Graduate Programs Tops in Nation

Angelo State University’s online graduate degree programs in education have been ranked No. 1 on the list of the nation’s “Top 50 Affordable Online Graduate Education Programs 2017” by the Best Colleges Online higher education resource guide.

Best Colleges Online Ranking Badge Only programs at accredited colleges and universities were eligible for the rankings, which were formulated using data from the National Center for Education Statistics and U.S. News and World Report. 

ASU was one of five Texas institutions to have its online graduate education programs make the Best Colleges Online rankings. The others were the University of North Texas (No. 4), Sam Houston State University (No. 5), the University of Texas at Arlington (No. 17) and the University of Houston (No. 18). The ASU Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers an online Master of Arts degree in curriculum and instruction, as well as online Master of Education degrees in educational administration, guidance and counseling, and student development and leadership in higher education. ASU’s online graduate education programs were also ranked No. 56 in the nation for quality and affordability by U.S. News and World Report in January.
