Online MSN-Nurse Educator Program Nationally Ranked

Angelo State University’s online Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Educator program has been ranked among the nation’s “30 Best Affordable Online Master’s in Nursing Education” for 2017 by the GradSchoolHub.com higher education resource guide for graduate programs.
ASU’s program ranked No. 3 in the nation and was the highest ranked of five programs at Texas schools listed in the top 30. Only nursing programs at accredited colleges and universities were eligible for the rankings, which were based on data from the National Center for Education Statistics and rankings in U.S. News and World Report and other major publications.
According to GradSchoolHub.com, “One of the best online nursing education master’s programs on our list is offered by Angelo State University. The program is designed to help students develop expertise as an advanced-level nurse in a teaching role.”
ASU’s online MSN-Nurse Educator program is designed to prepare graduates to teach health care providers in a variety of education programs, including those at the vocational, associate and baccalaureate levels, as well as in health care environments. The other Texas schools ranked by GradSchoolHub.com were Texas Woman’s University, Lamar University, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the University of Texas at Arlington. ASU’s online graduate nursing programs were also cumulatively ranked No. 50 in the nation for quality and affordability by U.S. News and World Report in January.
