For the 20th straight year, ASU students have maintained a 100 percent passing rate on the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) teacher certification test for secondary mathematics. Three ASU students took the TExES in December 2016 and passed with an average score of 284.3 out of 300, which is considerably higher than last year’s state average score of 239.9. ASU students passing the test this year were Amber Bohr of Fort Worth, Brennan Friday of San Angelo and Jonathan Hood of Carlsbad.
