Great War Series: Veterans Roundtable Brings Together Students and Community Members

November 15, 2017

As part of the “World War I and America” initiative from the Library of America, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, this event brought together students from the Department of Visual & Performing Arts to reenact the voices of the World War I generation. Local veterans provided commentary and discussed their own experiences in the armed forces. The event at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts drew an audience of over 140. The grant was co-directed by Profs. Lamberson and Wongsrichanalai.
