How did you learn about ASU?

I attended an event at Foreign Trade University, at the International University booth I saw ASU, I spoke to the representative and I discovered that I will have a different path to go.

Why did you want to attend ASU?

This is a ticket for me to be free, be myself, to explore a whole new world, to endeavor the goals I want to achieve. I believe ASU is an amazing stepping stone for everyone who wants to achieve their dream roles.

What is your favorite thing about ASU?

The educational system here is wonderful! Every class I have attended left me with a lot of memorable experiences, professors are amazing, everyone is willing to help and support people in need.

What are some of your hobbies?

I enjoy art, classical music and traveling. ASU gives me lots of opportunities to satisfy those hobbies. From artistic and musical events on campus to outdoor adventures. Furthermore, San Angelo is in the middle of big cities like Austin, San Antonio or Dallas which is perfect for a road trip!

Are you involved in any student organizations?

At the moment, I am not involved in any student organization but in the near future, I will definitely be a part of the multicultural organization to maximize my experiences in ASU.

Do you work on campus? If so, where and what are your responsibilities?

I am working for Special Events Facilities Services as an Audio and Visual Technician. My team and I are in charge of making sure that all the audio and visual technology reach the requirement for the events. And we make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the event. We also try to ensure that every client, every student has a great experience in ASU.

What is one piece of advice you would give to help college students succeed?

We must not wish for the disappearance of our troubles but for the grace to transform them and transform ourselves.
