For the 21st straight year, ASU students have maintained a 100 percent passing rate on the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) teacher certification test for secondary mathematics. Three ASU students took the TExES in December and January and passed with an average score of 277 out of 300, which is considerably higher than last year’s state average score of 242. ASU students passing the test this year were Matthew Mims and Alyssa Ramirez of San Angelo and Rhiannon Holmes of Clovis, N.M.
