Department of Agriculture and Department of Physics and Geosciences

ASU’s Department of Agriculture and Department of Physics and Geosciences received the 2017 Bruno Hanson/Midland College Environmental Excellence Award at the annual Executive Oil Conference in Midland for their ongoing Range Reclamation Project.

The project is co-directed by Dr. Cody Scott of the agriculture faculty and Dr. James Ward of the geosciences faculty, and is funded by two separate gifts from the Shell Oil Company totaling $191,500. This year marks the first time the award has gone to a university and not an energy company.
