How did you learn about ASU?

I grew up in San Angelo so I had always known about ASU, but it was not until my older brother decided to attend ASU that I really looked into ASU and all that it offers.

Why did you want to attend ASU?

I wanted to attend ASU because I could go to college and live at home. I also loved how affordable it is and how beautiful the campus is.

What is your favorite thing about ASU?

My favorite thing about ASU is Homecoming. Participating in Homecoming is my favorite thing, especially the bonfire guarding, and the Blue and Gold Party.

What are some of your hobbies?

Some of my hobbies include reading books and watching YouTube. I love to read no matter what genre the book is, but my favorite books to read are ones that involve history.

Are you involved in any student organizations?

Yes, I have been involved with the Association of Mexican-American Students (AMAS) since my freshman year. I have been an officer in AMAS for 2 years, and this year I am the President!

Do you work on campus? If so, where and what are your responsibilities?

No, I do not work on campus.

What is one piece of advice you would give to help college students succeed?

A piece of advice I would give college students would be to not be afraid to talk to your professor. If you are struggling with a class talk to them, go to their office hours, they will see that you are trying. Getting to know your professors and building relationships with them will only benefit students.
