ASU Tour Guides must be dependable, energetic, and self-motivated individuals who are passionate about their campus life experience at Angelo State University.  Individuals must be professional in all work duties and possess excellent customer service skills, as well as, verbal and written communication skills.  Individuals need to be detail-oriented and have general computer knowledge.  Individual must be willing to work under various weather types. ASU Tour Guides are required to become a member of the ASU RAMbassadors, a student volunteer group housed within the Office of Admissions. Job duties include: greeting visitors to campus, providing walking campus tours, escorting visitors to campus appointments, calling individuals about tour appointments, inputting campus event data, answering phones for the Admissions Department, assisting with campus recruitment events, and other duties as assigned.


Campus tours are Monday-Friday 1:00-3:30 pm and Monday/Friday 10:00 am-12:30 pm. Additional hours will be scheduled for office work.  You will have occasional evening or weekend commitments for recruitment events. 15-20 hours per week.
