Online Master’s Degree Programs Ranked No. 3 in U.S.

Angelo State University’s online graduate degree offerings have been ranked No. 3 in the nation among the “50 Best Master’s Degree Online Programs” by the Master’s Programs Guide online higher education resource guide.

ASU is one of five Texas institutions to make the rankings, and ranked third in the U.S. behind only Central Michigan University and the University of Houston. The “50 Best Master’s Degree Online Programs” rankings were created using data and information from the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. News & World Report and school websites.

Criteria for the rankings included:

  • Regionally accredited in the U.S.
  • Offer more than 10 online graduate degrees
  • Programs are 100 percent online
  • Average level of student debt at graduation
  • Student support services available remotely
  • Student access to technology

ASU offers 15 completely online master’s degrees, as well as multiple online graduate certificates and certifications.

Additionally, ASU has been ranked No. 16 in the nation among the 50 “Most Affordable Online Master’s Programs” by the OnlineMasters.com higher education resource guide.

The methodology for the OnlineMasters.com rankings differs from the Master’s Program Guide, with information and data collected from industry experts, hiring managers, current students and alumni. Criteria for the rankings included academic quality, student success and affordability.

All of ASU’s online and on-campus graduate degree programs and certificates/certifications are offered through the College of Graduate Studies and Research.
