July 28, 2019

Last year, Girls Night Out had over 1,400 attendees, and Guys Night Out had over 650 attendees, and both programs were huge successes. This year, we are hoping to expand the events and make them bigger and better than the last. Topics which are relevant to a healthy and safe college career will be addressed during the event in a fun and educational atmosphere. Some of the primary topics to be covered during this program will be setting and achieving goals, the dangers of alcohol abuse, internet and social media safety, and establishing healthy relationships. Specifically, at Girls Night Out, we will also be hosting a self-defense demonstration and discussing women’s safety.

Girls Night Out will also feature keynote speakers Jordan Lee Dooley, author of “Own Your Everyday,” and Hanna Seymour, author of “The College Girl’s Survival Guide. Jordan’s goal is to help women over Overcome the pressure to prove and show up for what you were made to do. In her book The College Girl’s Survival Guide she shares 52 of the top college concerns of college girls today.

Guys Night Out will feature keynote speakers Damon West and Jody Holland.
