Natural History Collection Windfall

The Angelo State Natural History Collections received more than 150 new preserved specimens from to private collections in the fall of 2018. Former ASU faculty member Wayne Milligan donated 155 specimens that range from turkeys, ducks and various other birds and fowl to snakes and large and small mammals. Two large specimens, a 14-foot Nile crocodile and a male African lion, came from a private collector in Florida. All are now on display in the Cavness Science Building.
