Math Students Maintain Record on TExES

For the 22nd straight year, ASU students have maintained a 100 percent passing rate on the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) teacher certification test for secondary mathematics. Five ASU students took the TExES in December and passed with an average score of 285 out of 300, which is considerably higher than last year’s state average score of 243. ASU students passing the test this year were Lance Burns of Justin, Ari Lezovich of Killeen, Savino Rivero of Big Lake, Paxton Smith of Belton and Daniela Suarez of Granite Shoals.
