Health Science Professions Program Earns Top National Ranking

Specifically, the Healthcare Administration Track within ASU’s Bachelor of Science in health science professions degree program was highlighted. It provides a solid foundation in health information systems, healthcare quality control, strategic management and more. Students earning this degree also meet the requirements to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration degree. ASU also offers a MBA with specialization in healthcare management.
Data and information for the University HQ rankings were derived from the National Center for Education Statistics, College Scorecard, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Payscale.com. Criteria for the rankings included:
- Admission, retention and graduation rates
- Tuition costs and percentage of students receiving financial aid

- Number of diplomas awarded
- Average starting salaries of graduates

Angelo State’s B.S. in health science professions is offered through the Department of Health Science Professions in the Archer College of Health and Human Services. A Physical Therapy and Allied Health Professions Track and a Public Health Track are also available within the degree program.
