ASU Sets Constitution Day Observance

September 13, 2012

Angelo State University will observe Constitution Day on Monday, Sept. 17, with activities and opportunities to further the ASU community’s knowledge of the Constitution and U.S. citizens’ rights and responsibilities.

Staff from the Office of Housing and Residential Programs will decorate a campus limo golf cart in red, white and blue, and will offer rides to students walking along the  campus Mall between the Texan Hall and Centennial Hall residence facilities.  The students will be presented with Constitution-related trivia and other questions about the U.S. Government, and their rides will continue toward their destinations as long as they answer correctly.

The Student Support Center will have voter registration cards available to students at a table in the Houston Harte University Center, and pocket Constitutions will be provided by the Center for Student Involvement.
