St. Germaine Presents at CPTSC

Nicole St. Germaine, Assistant Professor of English, presented her paper “Teaching Localization to Native Spanish Speakers: Opportunities for Growth” at the Council for Programs in Technical and Scientific Communication (CPTSC) in Houghton, MI. In her presentation, she discussed training students who are native speakers of Spanish at Angelo State University how to make health information and other forms of technical communication culturally-appropriate for Spanish-speakers in Texas. In addition to presenting her paper, she moderated a panel, reviewed abstracts for the conference, and served on the Program Committee.
