A. Orozco’s Concrete Construction, LLC |With the assistance of business development specialist James Leavelle of the ASU-SBDC, Andrew Orozco was able to revive his father’s concrete construction business, a lifelong dream.

Andrew Orozco had a dream of reviving his father’s concrete construction business and made a visit to the Angelo State University – Small Business Development Center.   As an accounting student at ASU, Andrew learned about the SBDC and its offerings.  The center’s location in relation to his classes made it a convenient choice!

Andrew met with SBDC advisor James Leavelle.  Andrew already had his business operating with his Dad’s guiding hand and assistance, but wanted to expand his business.  He knew he would need capital and a business plan to get that capital.  He worked with James on learning what he would need to do.

Through his efforts, Andrew was able to get his company set up as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) which in turn, enabled him to procure certain avenues of capital in order to expand his business.  These achievements enabled him to grow his assets and add three jobs to his business.  Andrew comments that “the Small Business Development has helped me become more knowledgeable.  I am very pleased with James’ help and support.  Overall very pleased with the service.”
