November 29, 2012

Angelo State University’s San Jacinto Behavioral Health Center will present a family holiday concert by the Flying J Wranglers on Monday, Dec. 17, in the ASU Auditorium.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for active military and senior citizens, and $12 for children 6-12 years old.  Admission is free for children five years old and younger.  The ASU Auditorium is located in the Mayer Administration Building, 2601 W. Avenue N.

Titled “White Mountain Christmas,” the concert will feature the Flying J Wranglers and guest band Concho Grass performing a western music program of tradition holiday favorites and cowboy Christmas songs.  Based at the Flying J Ranch in Ruidoso, N.M., the Wranglers are famous for their fantastic fiddling, banjo plunking, guitar picking, world-champion yodeling and amazing harmonizing.

Tickets for the concert are available at the ASU Student Accounts Office in Room 100 of the Mayer Administration Building, and at the San Jacinto Behavioral Health Center, 902 Spaulding St. between San Jacinto Elementary School and Old Bobcat Stadium.  To purchase tickets by phone, call the Student Accounts Office at 325-942-2008 or the San Jacinto Center at 325-942-2178.  All proceeds will go to help fund the services provided by the San Jacinto Center.

The San Jacinto Behavioral Health Center is a component of the ASU Department of Nursing and Rehabilitation Sciences.  It provides psychotherapy, group therapy and development testing for children of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay.
