Student Assistant-Access Services
Requires the ability to perform procedures of moderate difficulty, and learn Library policies and procedures. Tasks range from shelving and shifting books, working at the Circulation and Media desks to answering phones, working on special projects, and other tasks as assigned.
Dependable and dedicated student who can work up to 20 hours per week includes evening and some weekend hours. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, people skills, public service commitment and personal reliability. The nature of the work requires visual acuity, full range of motion including but not limited to standing, sitting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling book carts up to 300 pounds, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Approximately 15 - 20hrs per week, including some evening and weekend hours. Evening hours, during in the Fall and Spring semesters, includes one night per week until Midnight or 2:00am. During Summer evening hours are no later than 11:00pm.
