ASU on ‘Affordable Online’ List

Angelo State University has been ranked among the “Top 25 Affordable Online Colleges in Texas” by and its partner website

Overall, ASU ranked 14th on the Top 25 list, and is eighth among four-year institutions.  Criteria for making the list includes in-state and out-of-state tuition rates, student-to-teacher ratio, campus setting and breadth of online programs.

“Online education remains on the rise in Texas, with colleges of all types incorporating distance learning into their curricula,” said Wes Ricketts, vice president and general manager of  “We wanted to showcase the wide range of Texas schools helping students earn their degrees remotely.”
