Assistant Leisure Manager, NF-II
Provides assistance to the Leisure Travel Manager with the programming and management of Information, Tickets & Tours. Coordinates and leads organized trips and tours; operates a variety of FSS vehicles to include, but not limited to, 15-passenger van and utility vehicles and/or towing recreational trailers (grills, canoes, etc.). Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles, and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation. Maintains records and documents actions on operator inspection checklists/forms and accident/incident forms. May be assigned as lead for trips/tours, responsible for overall program execution, customer safety, and any associated financial support, such as petty cash payments or gas card controls. Develops program plans that include cost analysis, manpower, logistical support, publicity, coordination, and execution guidelines. Performs other duties as required.
Must have practical knowledge and/or experience of recreation and leisure interests. Must have experience which has provided a practical knowledge of travel industry, rules, regulations, and procedures. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and heavier with assistance. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
